What Your Handshake Says About You- An Etiqutte in Business

Whether you’re in business or just a social community, you meet people And, one of the very first thing that you do when meeting a person is that you shake hands with the person. Handshaking is the very fundamental and the first way of greeting one another, often showing amiable manners. Here are some good ways of a good handshake. “Connect the web between your index finger and thumb firmly with the other person's and pump two or three times. This is confident and always appropriate.” Be sure to be concise, and always look into the person’s eyes. It’ll show that you are eager to meet that person and do the work. However, a limp handshake coveys the meaning that you lack self-confidence or sometimes you are not happy with the person. Also, grabbing the person’s hand with too much strength and placing your hand on top of other person’s show your aggressiveness.
Handshaking is very important when greeting people. Especially when doing business, it is your first impression to the person that you are going to do business with. A good handshake would carry the message of your strong intention on meeting the person in a friendly way. Then, it is most likely that the other person would feel good and comfortable and the business would go smoothly.
